Adam was born in 1992 to parents born and brought up on the then-largest Council estate in Europe. Adam’s Dad was a self-employed scaffolder and his Mom works for a local Authority. In 1995, the family moved to Coleshill, North Warwickshire. Adam attended the local schools and then went on to Coventry University. He worked in the third sector after University before becoming the Office Manager for a Member of Parliament in Coventry. In December 2019, he left that role to establish his own campaigns agency, which is based in Polesworth.
Adam first stood for election at the age of 18 when he was elected to Coleshill Town Council but just missed out on being elected to the Borough Council by 17 votes! Despite the Council Ward of Coleshill North having had a Conservative Councillor for nearly 20 years, Adam secured both the Town and Borough Council seat in 2015 – making it the fourth safest Labour and Co-Operative seat in the Borough of North Warwickshire.
As of May 2019, Adam is the Borough Councillor for Polesworth East having been elected alongside Dave Parsons to represent the village for the next four years. Adam lives in the North Warwickshire village of Austrey.
Adam is also Leader of the Labour and Co-operative Group at North Warwickshire Borough Council. He was elected to the position by his fellow Labour Councillors in February 2016. During his time as Group Leader, the Group has gained seats from the Conservatives, notably in the 2016 Arley by-election and at the May 2019 all-out elections.
Alongside Council duties, Adam is a CLP Chair and over the last 9 years has held almost every single officer position in his Constituency and Branch Labour Party. He has also been a General Election agent twice, a council agent numerous times and is a member of the Jewish Labour Movement.
